Our family includes three wonderful teenagers on the autism spectrum who thrive on routine, consistency, and patience. We are seeking someone who is compassionate, organized, dependable, and takes pride in helping others.

Child Care Responsibilities
- Assist with meals, hygiene, toileting, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Help maintain consistent daily routines and schedules
- Supervise and engage our teenagers in daily activities
- Transport children to school, appointments, therapies, and activities (vehicle provided)
- Assist with homework and life skills as needed
- Provide a calm, structured, and supportive environment
Household Management Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized home
- Laundry and linen care
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping
- Keep household groceries and supplies fully stocked
- Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas
- Run errands as needed
- Help anticipate household needs before being asked
Pet Care Responsibilities
Our pets are an important part of our family and deserve exceptional care.
Responsibilities include:
- Feeding and providing fresh water daily
- Administering medications as directed
- Monitoring for changes in health or behavior
- Scheduling and transporting pets to veterinary appointments
- Keeping pet supplies stocked
- Cleaning pet areas and maintaining their living spaces
- Providing daily attention and ensuring their overall well-being

The ideal candidate:
- Follows instructions carefully and consistently
- Completes tasks the way they are taught—not by creating shortcuts or personal methods
- Uses checklists and pays close attention to detail
- Takes initiative while respecting established household systems
- Is dependable, punctual, and honest
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
- Has excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Can multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Communicates clearly and proactively
- Wants to build a long-term relationship with our family
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or special needs is required
- CNA, Direct Support Professional (DSP), nursing home, or caregiving experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred (we will pay for certification if needed)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening (including medical marijuana)
- Physically able to lift, bend, walk, stand, and remain active throughout the day
Schedule & Benefits
