Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembler 2 to support the APN 241 Program in a fast-paced Aerospace & Defense manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling, repairing, modifying, reworking, and testing electronic and electromechanical assemblies including printed circuit boards (PCBs), cable assemblies, modules, panels, frames, and subassemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong soldering experience, IPC certification, blueprint/schematic reading skills, and experience working with electronic assemblies while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Current IPC J-STD-001 Solder Certification.
· Experience assembling and repairing electronic assemblies and PCBs.
· Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
· Experience following detailed work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
· Ability to perform PCB component replacement and electronic rework.
· Ability to work various shifts as business requires.
· Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble electronic and electromechanical assemblies, modules, boards, frames, panels, drawers, and cable assemblies.
· Perform PCB component replacement and circuit board repairs.
· Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
· Perform precision soldering in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 standards.
· Conduct continuity testing on in-process and completed assemblies.
· Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
· Perform rework, modification, repair, and testing of production and prototype assemblies.
· Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment.
· Maintain production documentation and manufacturing records.
· Follow ESD, FOD, OSHA, and company quality procedures.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
