Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations of the front-of-house team, manage customer interactions, and maintain a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to service excellence. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and foster a vibrant, efficient atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills within a dynamic food service setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality and efficiency.
Train new staff and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance team skills in food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols.
Responsible for labor control and delegation of responsibilities to team members
Monitors, controls and completes inventory and ordering for departments as required
Communicates regularly with team members and other personell regarding operations and coordination between departments
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
Monitors and troubleshoots issues with POS systems and other advanced systems throughout the building
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist procedures to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
Maintain inventory control for front-of-house supplies and assist in ordering to ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
Enforce health and safety regulations related to food preparation, handling, and overall cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards.Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a focus on front-of-house operations.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments such as quick service or casual dining restaurants.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen management principles.
Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, service techniques, and operational procedures.
Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and shift scheduling within a food industry setting.
