Job Overview

Life Care Center of Fort Wayne is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Liaison - Non Nurse to serve as a vital communication bridge between our healthcare facilities, community partners, and the public. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your excellent communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and social media expertise to enhance our organization’s visibility and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, bilingual (if applicable), and passionate about fostering positive relationships that support our mission of delivering outstanding care.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong media relations by coordinating press releases, media inquiries, and community outreach efforts.
Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, community events, and health fairs to promote services and build awareness.
Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and implementing social media marketing strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing campaigns that align with organizational goals and community needs.
Support volunteer management initiatives by recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers for various programs.
Assist in business development activities by identifying new partnership opportunities and fostering relationships with stakeholders.
Collect data on outreach efforts to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or marketing within a healthcare or community-focused environment.
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
Demonstrated expertise in social media management and social media marketing strategies.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
Experience in volunteer management, fundraising, or business development is preferred.
Knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, and data collection techniques to support organizational growth initiatives.
