Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for work order technical review, feature option clarification, and customer/dealer order processing support. Create and review proposal and order drawings.

Coordinates work orders with engineering and manufacturing for design and feature options, change orders and other technical related questions or problems
Provides a communication link between customers/dealers with engineering and manufacturing to facilitate order processing and vehicle production.

Efficiently creates drawings in a timely fashion.
Serves as technical liaison with the Sales Managers and Dealers Provides technical information to the internal and external Sales Team. 15% Answers questions, and provide information needed to the Sales Team.
Develop and maintain specification line drawings for model year standard vehicles Create the annual line drawings when new model years are released. 5% New line drawings are published on time each new fiscal year.
Create and edit proposal, bid and order drawings to support sales and production
Create customer line drawings for customers as requested. Modify line drawings to match the final order released by sales. Modify line drawings as needed for change order requests.

Create accurate drawings, drawing turnaround time to be 7-10 days on average.
Research previous vehicle purchases for matching information and comparisons
Compare new orders to previous orders to help guide dealers on options/custom layouts to use on current trucks. When custom requests/layouts are requested, research previous trucks to know what we have done before and to provide known possibilities to Dealers.

Know how to efficiently navigate previous trucks and orders and apply the knowledge gained to new orders.
Assist in the quoting of material and labor pricing Provide information and designs to the pricing and engineering teams as needed. 5% Provided knowledge and estimates to the pricing team when requested.
Participates in team in the analysis and decisions relating to product line additions and deletions, optional feature selections, standard specification and product/market review
Participate in the PAPA meetings. Participate in the NPD meetings. Help write SCR’s.

Provide knowledge and research to the Sales and Engineering Teams to help with decisions on future direction.
Knowledge of Bill of Materials and Routings
Understand the Bill of Materials and Routings in each truck model. Understand when changes are made, what this all affects on the entire truck.

Demonstrate an understanding of the Bill of Materials and Routings and how they play into the build of the truck.
Technical Skills/Competencies (technical knowledge, education and experience)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience with Braun Ambulance production and/or design preferred
CAD experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Strong technical aptitude

Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance, regularly require to walk, talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, crouch and kneel; frequently required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls; occasionally required to stoop or crawl
