As a Nurse Supervisor, you'll provide guidance to the nursing team, support residents and families, and help create the positive, team-focused culture that defines Byron.

What You'll Do
As a Nurse Supervisor, you'll provide clinical leadership while ensuring residents receive exceptional care and team members receive the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities include:
Resident Care Leadership

Oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift

Respond to changes in condition and emergencies
-
Promote resident-centered care and quality outcomes
-
Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
Team Leadership
-
Coach, mentor, and support nurses, QMAs, and CNAs
-
Assist with staff orientation and development
-
Foster teamwork and communication between departments
-
Support staffing, engagement, and employee retention
Clinical Operations
-
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
-
Support quality assurance and survey readiness
-
Monitor documentation and clinical performance
-
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where residents feel cared for and employees feel supported.
Job Type
Full time and part time available
Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
-
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in Indiana
-
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
-
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
-
Be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
-
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with long-term care residents
