Job Overview We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Chief Clinical & Compliance Officer to join our executive leadership team overseeing operations in and . This high-level role holds dual accountability for directing our multi-state clinical services strategy and leading our corporate healthcare compliance program. Responsibilities: Clinical & Healthcare Leadership
- Strategic Oversight: Direct long-term clinical strategies, patient safety initiatives, and healthcare quality programs across all facilities.
- Staff Management: Supervise medical directors, clinical providers, nurses, and department heads.
- Care Standards: Establish, evaluate, and update clinical protocols to match current medical advancements and state-specific scopes of practice.
- Collaboration Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain necessary Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) for mid-level practitioners in restricted/reduced practice environments.
Regulatory & Compliance Governance
- Program Architecture: Design, implement, and enforce a system-wide healthcare compliance program mirroring state laws.
- Risk Assessments: Perform routine clinical and operational audits to discover and patch legal vulnerabilities.
- Policy Enforcement: Update company bylaws to strictly align with HIPAA, OSHA, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Texas Medical Practice Act, and the Louisiana Nurse Practice Act.
- Staff Education: Lead mandatory compliance, billing, and ethical training for all medical and administrative workers.
- Investigation & Reporting: Oversee internal reviews of policy breaches, billing errors, or fraud allegations, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications Education & Licensing
- For Nurse Practitioners: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) license in Texas and/or Louisiana (with the ability to obtain licensure in the neighboring state via endorsement).
- For Physicians: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with an active, unrestricted medical license in Texas and/or Louisiana.
Experience & Certifications
- Experience: At least 8–10 years of active clinical practice, plus 5+ years in a senior clinical leadership, healthcare management, or compliance role.
- Certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is highly desirable.
- Skills: Expert knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations, medical fraud prevention, risk management, and executive team collaboration.
