A Day in the Life
As a Senior Associate – Data Center Supply Chain Services, you will support advanced project-based operations focused on data center infrastructure deployment, cabinet integration, rack assembly, and hardware installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rack and stack integration, cabinet builds, and data center hardware installations.
- Install and secure servers, switches, PDUs, cable management systems, and related infrastructure.
- Assemble, configure, and prepare customer-specific rack and cabinet solutions.
- Perform advanced kitting, staging, deployment preparation, and asset labeling activities.
- Conduct quality inspections and verify customer specifications before shipment.
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform technical assembly and integration tasks.
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using forklifts and approved equipment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, inventory transactions, and system records.
- Partner with project coordinators and operations teams to meet customer timelines.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or technical assembly experience.
- 1+ year of experience in rack and stack operations, cabinet integration, server installation, or data center deployment.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience with rack and stack operations, cabinet building, or data center hardware integration.
- Knowledge of server, network, and data center infrastructure components.
- Ability to interpret technical work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment in a production environment.
- Forklift certification preferred; ability to obtain certification required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and project coordination skills.
- Basic computer skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hyperscale or enterprise data center deployments.
- Familiarity with burn-in testing, server installation, networking equipment, and cable management.
- Understanding of ESD and hardware handling best practices.
Compensation Details $22.67 - $28.34 Per Hour
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
