Full Job Description

Position Summary

Full time, exempt, has met all expectations of Tax Associate

Primary Responsibilities

· Communicate with clients in a professional manner

· Perform a variety of tax tasks with little supervision

· Possess knowledge of tax regulations in order to answer client’s questions

· Respond to tax notices of any sort and do initial draft

· Maintain a good understanding of depreciation and depreciation computer software

· Perform moderate to hard individual and business tax returns

· Complete research projects in a timely and effective manner

· Begin to learn client’s business as it relates to a particular area of assignment

Additional Responsibilities

· Other duties as assigned

Chargeable Goal:

· 1650+ hours/year

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Minimum tax experience of 2 years with a CPA firm

· Experience with tax software

· Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

· Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material

· Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work well with others
