Full Job Description

Job Title: Treasury Analyst

NOTE: This position is NOT remote and will be required to be on site full-time

SUMMARY

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s treasury operations, cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, debt management, and financial risk analysis. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient cash flow management, optimizing liquidity, and supporting strategic financial initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple banking relationships and financial reporting requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cash Management & Forecasting

Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity across all accounts and entities
Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
Analyze cash trends and recommend strategies to optimize working capital
Coordinate daily cash transfers and funding activities
Assist with forecasting borrowing needs and debt repayment schedules

Banking & Treasury Operations

Maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions
Manage bank account administration, including account openings, closings, and signatory updates
Monitor treasury activities to ensure compliance with company policies and banking agreements
Assist with wire transfers, ACH transactions, positive pay, and fraud prevention controls
Support implementation and maintenance of treasury management systems

Debt & Financing Support

Track debt balances, interest payments, and covenant compliance
Assist with borrowing base calculations and lender reporting requirements
Support financing transactions, renewals, and refinancing activities
Prepare schedules and documentation for lenders, auditors, and leadership
Monitor compliance with loan agreements and financial covenants

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare treasury reports, liquidity analyses, and financial summaries for management
Analyze bank fees and recommend cost-saving opportunities
Support month-end close activities related to cash, debt, and treasury functions
Assist with financial modeling related to cash flow and capital structure
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting for strategic initiatives

Risk Management & Controls

Assist in identifying and mitigating liquidity and operational risks
Maintain strong internal controls surrounding treasury operations
Support fraud prevention efforts and payment security procedures
Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies and external regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

eBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2–5+ years of treasury, finance, accounting, banking, or related experience
Strong understanding of cash management, treasury operations, and financial analysis
Experience with cash forecasting and liquidity management
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Knowledge of banking platforms and treasury management systems preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in private equity-backed or multi-entity organizations
Knowledge of borrowing base reporting and covenant compliance
Experience with ERP systems and treasury management software
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, or CFA designation preferred but not required
Experience in asset-based lending (ABL), commercial finance, or structured debt environments
