Full Job Description

Production Automation Corporation (PAC) - (www.gotopac.com) is a National/International Distributor of supplies and equipment for the electronics and medical device/cleanroom manufacturers.

Our current search is for an outstanding Vendor Managed Inventory Planner/Analyst for our Grapevine, TX branch. The chosen individual will assist with the building and maintenance of its National Customer VMI models and programs. PAC is growing at a rapid pace and this is a unique opportunity to join a growing team to present, build, win and maintain PAC’s VMI programs.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the PAC VMI Manager, the Vendor Managed Inventory Planner/Analyst will assist with the following categories in order to build and maintain customer VMI programs.
Work with consumables/product lists provided by the customer after VMI Manager and Account Manager obtain such lists for program proposals.
Work with Manager/Account Manager to finalize list of items, cross item suggestions and prepare the list for sale pricing / presentation review with the customer.
Build stocking request model to work with purchasing as well as ongoing maintenance of product changes and updates.
Work with VMI Manager, Account Manager, IT, Purchasing, Customer Service and additional internal teams to build back-end requirements for systems set up, vending requirements, inventory, etc.
Maintain the customer's inventory replenishment levels and stock models based on approved schedule and agreed-upon targets.
Monitors and analyzes utilization, product availability, pricing, and lead times to prepare VMI models.
Work with purchasing to assure stock in being maintained. Will manage item changes & update vending or internal software when items need to be updated.
Individual will need to understand all VMI parameters, calculations and data feeds to accurately work with purchasing on replenishment orders.
Develops reports to track all metrics and identify trends or issues that will impact inventory levels.
Works with purchasing to expedite and resolve any shipping, delivery, ordering or system issues that may impact expected inventory replenishment targets.
Proactively work on the quarterly review of ongoing programs, confirming sale price, inventory levels, costs and profitability.
Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Bilingual - English/Spanish is a major plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3-5 years of inventory planning/analysis experience
Experience with sourcing new products & multitasking with vendors as needed
Resolve quality, service, shipping and invoicing issues with management/internal teams/suppliers/vendors/customers
Provide customers with superior quality products and outstanding customer service
Strong Excel skills a must
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Office, SAP, VMI Background experience a plus.
