Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Live-In Resident Support Assistant to reside on-site and help provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment for elderly individuals and persons with disabilities in our Assisted Living Facility. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives while enjoying the convenience of on-site housing.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and community meals.
Perform housekeeping and help maintain a clean, organized living environment.
Provide laundry services and assist residents with clothing care.
Assist residents with grocery shopping and obtaining personal necessities.
Coordinate transportation for appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
Provide reminders and assistance with self-administration of medications in accordance with facility policies.
Be available to respond to resident needs, emergencies, and household concerns during assigned hours.
Monitor resident well-being and report concerns, changes, or incidents to management.
Encourage resident participation in social and community activities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Follow all facility policies, resident rights, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.

Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working with elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, or in a residential care setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Valid driver's license and reliable driving record preferred.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
