Sequoia Springs Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and appearance of our senior living community.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in their work, is highly organized, and enjoys solving problems. Our ideal candidate is dependable, knowledgeable in building maintenance, and committed to providing a safe, comfortable home for our residents.

What You'll Do
As our Maintenance Director, you will:
- Oversee all maintenance operations for the community.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, appliances, and other building systems.
- Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Conduct regular building inspections and identify safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with California Title 22 regulations, OSHA standards, fire and life safety requirements, and local building codes.
- Maintain emergency equipment, including generators, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, exit doors, and other life safety systems.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, preventative maintenance schedules, and work order documentation.
- Assist with apartment turns and move-in readiness.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and after-hours emergency response when needed.

QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, hotels, apartment communities, or commercial facilities.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working indoors and outdoors.
Preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with RCFE communities or healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of California Title 22 regulations and Life Safety Code requirements.
