Full Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical services to patients in our Wound Care Clinic, providing comprehensive wound care management directly to patients who need specialized treatment.

· Conduct thorough on-site assessments of patients' wounds, including wound measurements, tissue assessment, and identification of underlying conditions

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific wound care needs, including debridement, dressings, and adjunctive therapies

· Collaborate with facility staff, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal treatment outcomes

· Educate patients, families, and facility caregivers on proper wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Current California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
BSN degree; MSN preferred
Certification in Wound Care (CWCA, CWCN, CWS, or equivalent)
Current BLS and ACLS certification
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Wound Care treatment
A minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care management preferred, with proficiency in wound assessment, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practice
