Full Job Description

Cornerstone Residence seeks a compassionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee resident care, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage nursing staff across our assisted living locations.

This leadership role involves coordinating healthcare services, developing staff training programs, and maintaining up-to-date nursing policies in alignment with Minnesota Assisted Living License regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing care and ensure residents' health needs are met.
Supervise and support RNs, unlicensed staff, and care team members.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
Develop and update care plans, service agreements, and training programs.
Perform resident assessments and coordinate physician and caseworker communication.
Lead quality improvement, infection control, and medication management processes.
Provide ongoing staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Be available for on-call needs and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the State of Minnesota (unrestricted).
Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience, Assisted Living experience preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation required; employees must be able to travel to multiple facilities as part of the job responsibilities
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working with elderly populations preferred.

Cornerstone has 5 Assisted Living facilities, we prefer your office to be located at our Fosston facility. However, other locations may be an option. This position is classified as FLSA Exempt and is therefore not eligible for overtime compensation. The standard schedule is approximately 40 hours per week; however, flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the facilities.

A Monday through Friday schedule is preferred, though work hours may vary as necessary. While this role does not include a formal on-call rotation there may be times where on-call is necessary, primarily handled by phone, with in-person response rarely required.
