Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lumper Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and organizing freight within the warehouse environment. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to the seamless flow of goods from delivery to storage.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with the scheduler and receivers regarding the daily workload.

- Offload inbound trucks (floor loaded/pallet stacked) promptly and efficiently.

- Break down pallets according to Lumper sheets.

- Inspect articles for defects and sort them based on the extent of any issues.

- Manage dock space to ensure efficient work methods are implemented.

- Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures.

- Wear the required personal protective equipment at all times.

- Complete special projects and any additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

- While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to sit, stand, and walk regularly.

- You will also frequently need to reach with your hands and arms.

- You must be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 75-100 pounds.

Work Environment

- This position will involve twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and occasionally stooping, crouching, or crawling.

- You will regularly lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

- You will work near moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the work environment is typically loud.

Clothing Requirements

- Wear jeans (no shorts).

- T-shirts should cover the arms; no skin should be exposed above the elbow or neck.

- No open-toed shoes (steel-toe shoes are not required).

- Avoid wearing perfume or cologne, as they may adversely affect the product.

- Jewelry on hands, neck, or face is not permitted due to potential product contamination.

- Clothing must be non-restrictive; sagging pants are unacceptable.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
