Full Job Description

Title: Group Facilitator

Department: Clinical Position Type: Varies Schedule Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Group Facilitator is responsible for leading Group Therapy using industry recognized therapeutic curriculum. The Group Facilitator also maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per company policies, procedures and best practices; communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients.

Job Duties and Specifications:

· Facilitates Group Therapy with patients and document client progress.

· Preparing group activities as it relates to the topic within the area of addiction, recovery, mental health, and utilize holistic and creative interventions

· Demonstrates knowledge of chemical dependency and mental health treatment, utilizes knowledge and skills to access and meet the client’s treatment needs and requirements

· Follows FHR Program Curriculum.

· Conducts process groups, educational, chemical dependency, and other groups as assigned

· Collaborate with the clinical team to create the psycho-education group curriculum relevant to client needs & treatment plan goals.

· Ensure clients are completing individual level assignments and goals

· Conducting group in a manner that all individuals are respected and heard and the rules of the facility are maintained

· Monitors case load weekly to ensure required documentation is completed on time;

· Works as a part of a team to make sure other treatment team members are aware of the progress clients are making in group therapy.

· Completes other tasks as assigned.

· Maintain appropriate documentation of clinical and counseling services. Ensure accurate and consistent use of forms for all client contracts with behavioral health providers to ensure accurate billing of services.

· Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education and staff meetings

· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Skill / Education Qualification:

· 1+ Years’ experience in equivalent role or education

· 1+ years behavioral health experience

· Demonstrated commitment to customer service

· Professional experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors highly preferred.

· Ability to concisely and appropriately share clinical information with relevant team members

· Ability to collaborate with the clinical team to meet the ongoing psycho-educational and therapeutic needs of clients

· Commitment to maintain required CEU’s and ongoing licensing requirements as required.

Preferred Qualities:

· Ability to be self-directed/work autonomously

· Ability to problem solve and use good judgement

· Ability to take direction and ask questions as needed

· Commitment to prompt and regular attendance, as scheduled by supervisor

· Enjoys working in a collaborative, team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
