Within the Nursing Home the Nurse Director will guide a resident-centered model that blends dignity, independence, and restorative care; this Nursing Home Nurse Director will shape memory care best practices, post-acute rehab-to-home transitions, and chronic-condition management in a close-knit environment that leverages small-team communication, consistent assignments, and family partnerships; situated in a truly rural and scenic locale, the Nurse Director will enjoy meaningful continuity with residents and families while advancing geriatric nursing standards aligned with national guidelines and compassionate, whole-person care.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer and collaborating closely with the Long Term Care Administrator and Medical Director, the Nursing Home Nurse Director will lead charge nurses, MDS/RAI coordinators, infection preventionists, and nurse educators while partnering with PT/OT/SLP, dietary, and activities; as a Nurse Director, responsibilities include survey readiness, regulatory excellence, staffing and scheduling, budget stewardship, clinical competency development, falls and pressure injury prevention, safe transitions, and resident-satisfaction initiatives; this Nursing Home Nurse Director will be supported by a friendly team of nurses and a diverse group of healthcare professionals committed to teamwork, just culture, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes that elevate resident quality of life.
