Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Operate machinery for moving stock items
Comply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machinery
Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandise
Minimum of six months’ experience in stocking, shipping, logistics, or related field
Able to complete tasks with little to no direct supervision
Able to work quickly and accurately in a complex, fast-moving environment
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Physically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Forklift experience
Pallet jack
Accumulate and audit job spared kits
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
Good organizational skills
Good knowledge of metals and plastics
Working knowledge of shipping and receiving activities
Working knowledge of purchase order procurement system
Must possess good math skills
Clean driving record

Qualifications Requirements

To facilitate all parts flow to meet customer needs to production ship schedule
Input of all data released from engineering, regarding the fabrication of all raw material. To include the initial releases and upon completion
Tracks all released prints as times allows to ensure proper distribution
Pulls and matches purchases parts to the priority of job. Also pulls fabricated parts and matches to print for releases to machine shop
Assist assembly personnel in the auditing of all priority purchases parts for the purpose of assuring accurate accountability
Assist stockroom coordinator in the movement of material in preparation for shipment
Some computer experience necessary to familiarize and become knowledgeable in database entry
Operation of company lift trucks and small hand tools in performance of duties
Can maintain constant observance for good quality and reports contrary to supervisor
Observes good housekeeping and safety practices and keeps equipment, tools, workstation clean and orderly
