Mercedes-Benz of Littleton is a premier dealership specializing in Mercedes-Benz and Sprinter vehicles. Located conveniently off C-470, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality facilities and exceptional customer service, backed by comprehensive benefits to support our team members.

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Payable (AP) Admin to join our Accounting team.

In this vital role, you will manage the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining compliance with financial standards and internal controls. Your expertise will help sustain smooth financial operations and support the dealership’s growth.

Responsibilities

Process all incoming vendor invoices.
Reconcile electronic payments in AP to the general ledger and bank system.
Process credit card transactions, ensuring proper approvals, documentation, and coding.
Ensure all supporting invoices are processed timely and accurately.
Maintain vendor records, including obtaining W-9s, updating records with tax status and tax IDs. Prepare and remit annual 1099's.
Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and files.
Prepare analysis of vendor or customer accounts as required.
Assist fellow team members and department managers with issues, as needed.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Prepare journal entries as required.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the general ledger, verifying debits and credits align correctly.
Manage vendor relationships by resolving invoice discrepancies and responding promptly to inquiries.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and accrual entries.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency with accounting software including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with accounts payable functions.
Familiarity with financial concepts such as journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and analysis skills.
Ability to perform detailed data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining compliance standards.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
At least 2 years of Dealership experience or at least 2 years of accounting experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail for proofreading, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Type: Full-Time. 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Depending on Qualifications.
