Join BerryDunn as an Audit Intern and gain hands-on experience with critical financial processes such as cash management, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis. This internship offers an opportunity to work with clients across diverse industries such as Health Care, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Higher Education, and many others.
What You'll Do:

Review & Audit Engagements: Participate with team members on audit and review engagements supervised by senior staff members.

Research: Conduct thorough research on audit issues utilizing firm software.

Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients from a wide range of industries, gaining exposure to diverse business practices.

Summer 2027 running from May 25, 2027 through August 6, 2027.

Receive Training & Development:

Participate with team members on audit and review engagements and/or special projects supervised by senior staff members.

Develop an understanding of client businesses by working on a project team.

Identify and document task issues and progress in a timely and organized manner.

Additional Requirements:

Currently enrolled as a student in an Accounting or related business program.

Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week over three business days (opportunities for 40 hours during summer session).

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Strong analytical, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Compensation Details:
The hourly rate for this role is $30 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
