Full Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Senior TAX Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer. CPA or EA (preferred but not necessary). Year round position with overtime during tax season. Thompson-Reuters/CS UltraTax products and QuickBooks experience a must. We offer a competitive salary (based on experience) and fantastic benefits package!

Enjoy working for an expanding local CPA firm that sincerely cares about each client's needs. Must be familiar with tax forms 1120, 1120S, 1040, 1065, 1041, and answering tax notices from federal or state agencies on behalf the client. Corporate write-ups are essential. Compiled and Reviewed financials very helpful. Must be detail oriented, organized and have a friendly customer service skills. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Fantastic starting salary commensurate with experience, attitude and skills. Desired candidate will have earned a BS/BA in accounting, along with 3-6 years of experience in tax reporting. This is hands-on position working directly with very important clients and management. Knowledge of GAAP and preparation of Financial Statements are important. Any knowledge of IRS/DOR audit and collection procedures and methods are also helpful.

About this firm: We are a Full service CPA firm serving all 50 states; our primary client base is located in MA and NH. Services include preparation of Individual, Corporate, Trust, Partnership, Gift Tax and Estate tax returns (form 1041). We also provide Bookkeeping services including QuickBooks Desktop, QBO, and others. (We are QuickBooks Pro-Advisor). Plenty of free parking available and easy access from Routes 2, 190, 290, and 495.
