The company is focused on operational excellence, product quality, and efficient distribution across its NEIC warehouse and logistics network. We are committed to financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and supporting cross-functional accounting operations across the organization.

Position Summary
The Staff Accountant (Junior Level) is responsible for supporting core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close activities. This role provides exposure to multiple areas of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role will also support the back cash office with reconciliation of delivery invoices and payments.

This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Month-End Close

Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with month-end close processes and reporting schedules
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
Support general ledger maintenance and financial accuracy

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Assist in preparing daily and monthly reports related to revenue, sales, and margins
Support financial analysis and data validation for management reporting
Contribute to internal financial reporting accuracy and consistency

Accounts Receivable Support

Assist with collections follow-up and cash application activities
Support reconciliation of customer accounts and payment discrepancies

Accounts Payable Support

Assist with invoice entry, review, and processing payments
Support vendor record maintenance and payment accuracy

Vendor Bill-Back & Audit Support

Assist in calculating monthly vendor bill-back revenue
Prepare documentation and schedules for external auditors
Support audit requests and financial documentation needs

Route & Operational Accounting Support

Assist with route reconciliation in back-office accounting processes
Support operational accounting functions as needed

Ad-Hoc & Project Support

Assist with special projects and reporting tasks as assigned by management
Support process improvements and data accuracy initiatives

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
1–5 years of accounting or finance experience preferred

Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Working Environment

Full-time, on-site office-based role
Standard 40-hour work week
Fast-paced accounting and distribution environment

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting, computer use, and data entry
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
