Full Job Description

REGISTRATION AND TITLE CLERK

Bourne's Auto Center is looking for a motivated, detail oriented individual to join our team. This is a full time position with full benefits and competitive pay, as well as opportunities to advance in the company. We are a high volume MA dealer looking for a registration and title clerk. The qualified individual must be able to register up to 200 vehicle per month through the MA DMV electronic service and registration runners. The position requires the highest level of quality. Your experience must commensurate with the position offered. If you possess these qualities and you have the experience, we have the position for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Processes and submit all used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled in a timely manner.

Prepares registration and title documents.

Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien-holder showing on paperwork before processing registrations.

Checks for accuracy in the registration paperwork and ensures that all information is complete before submitting.

Maintains a system to complete VIN inspections on out-of-state titles.

Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title and registration issues. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and/or registration paperwork and provides a current list of outstanding titles and registration issues weekly.

Breaking down new deals, sending paperwork and following up with funding.

Review and maintain relative schedules.

Processes yearly renewal of dealer registration renewals.

Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.

Other duties may be assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Related retail automotive dealer experience registering vehicle, completing title documents, reconciling schedules.
