The Opportunity
As State Director, you'll lead Tennessee's operations with responsibility for:
- Statewide strategy and organizational growth
- Financial performance and operational sustainability
- Expansion of Foster Care and future service lines
- Leadership development and succession planning
- Regulatory compliance and program quality
- Community partnerships and external relations
You'll work directly with executive leadership to position Thompson for continued growth while building a culture centered on accountability, innovation, and exceptional service.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Mental Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, child welfare, nonprofit, or related fields
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience
- Experience leading multiple programs or geographic regions preferred
- Strong financial and operational management experience
- Ability to build partnerships with government agencies and community stakeholders
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout Tennessee
Location: Tennessee (Remote with statewide travel)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000
