Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
- You will verify the medical order and procedure.
- You will gather data through PSG studies.
- You will complete and verify documentation.
- You will perform a variety of Sleep Studies, as well as assist in the scoring of those Sleep Studies after a specified period of time.
- You will promote a supportive environment that encourages collegiality.
- You will explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep center.
- Sleep Study procedures require rational judgment, as well as associated clerical duties. He/she works to fulfill the hospital and departmental mission, vision, and values.

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Completion of an approved Sleep Disorder program required

(RST) Registered Sleep Technologist, or (RPSGT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, or (SDS) Sleep Disorder Specialist, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date

Must possess basic computer skills
