Healthcare Regulatory Paralegal (On-site, Full-Time Contract Paralegal)

Are you a healthcare regulatory paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, this full-time, on-site role in the Metro Nashville area may be right for you. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative and is self-sufficient. The ideal candidate brings healthcare regulatory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Basic Requirements for the Healthcare Regulatory Paralegal:

Healthcare regulatory experience required — including facility licensing or credentialing for hospice, nursing home, assisted living, home health, behavioral health, pharmacy, or other healthcare providers
Experience with change-of-ownership (CHOW) transactions, asset purchases, mergers, reorganizations, or management agreements strongly preferred
Experience preparing closing checklists and tracking pre- and post-closing regulatory obligations is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and follow through on time-sensitive matters
Outstanding professional references

Position Details of the Healthcare Regulatory Paralegal:

Type of role: Engagement
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Duration: 5 months
Location: Metro Nashville area

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
