This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands commercial landscape maintenance and knows how to keep multiple crews, schedules, customers, and priorities moving at the same time.
You'll work closely with Crew Leaders, Account Managers, and branch leadership to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard.
If you're an experienced landscape professional who enjoys solving problems in the field, developing teams, and improving how an operation performs, this could be a strong next step.
$65,000-$75,000 annual base salary, based on experience
Quarterly performance-based variable compensation opportunity tied to branch performance and subject to plan terms
Full-time benefits beginning on your first day of employment
Medical, dental, and vision coverage
Flexible Spending Account
Life and AD&D insurance
Disability coverage
Voluntary benefits
Lead morning huddles and set expectations for the day's work
Coordinate multiple landscape maintenance crews, schedules, and job assignments
Review job tickets, work notes, and schedules to ensure crews have clear direction
Provide field support and remove operational roadblocks throughout the day
Adjust staffing and resources when schedules or customer needs change
Visit job sites regularly to inspect quality and productivity
Ensure crews follow company safety standards and proper work practices
Coach Crew Leaders and team members when performance or quality needs improvement
Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and cared for
Partner with Account Managers on property needs, service concerns, and scheduling
Help resolve field-related customer issues quickly and professionally
Identify and communicate potential enhancement opportunities
Make sure special property requirements and service exceptions are clearly understood by crews
Monitor labor hours, materials, and crew productivity
Approve timesheets and verify work logs for payroll accuracy
Help control operational costs while maintaining service quality
Review job information for accuracy and support effective job costing
Provide direct leadership and coaching to Crew Leaders
Conduct regular one-on-one performance conversations
Help recruit, interview, onboard, and develop new team members
Build accountability while creating a strong, safety-focused team culture
3-5 years of landscape industry experience, preferably in commercial landscape maintenance
2+ years of leadership experience overseeing crews, field operations, production, or site-level services
Working knowledge of landscape maintenance, turf care, plant care, and horticultural practices
Experience managing multiple crews, schedules, and competing priorities
Ability to monitor labor, productivity, materials, and job performance
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Experience with scheduling, routing, ERP, or job-management software is a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent industry and leadership experience will be considered
Can walk a property and quickly recognize quality or production issues
Know how to hold crews accountable while still developing and supporting them
Stay organized when schedules and priorities change throughout the day
Understand that labor management and operational efficiency directly affect branch performance
Communicate well with both field employees and customer-facing teams
Are willing to jump into the operation and help solve problems rather than managing only from behind a desk
This position combines field leadership and office-based operational work.
You should be comfortable regularly visiting outdoor job sites and working in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain, sun, dust, pollen, insects, uneven terrain, and active landscape work areas.
The role also requires flexibility based on operational needs, which may occasionally include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
