Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly

Responsibilities:

· Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

· Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff

· Escort patients to exam rooms

· Monitor patient flow and obtain vital signs and initial information

· Call to obtain authorizations from insurance companies

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor, have strong communication skills, have medical experience and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Two years of medical assistance experience (or equivalent customer related ability)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
