Pizza Maker – Mortadella Head

Location: Greater Boston Area

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 (Depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

Dough & Preparation:

Stretch, top, and prepare Roman/Round-style pizzas with consistency and care
Follow standardized recipes while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Properly proof, portion, and manage dough

Execution & Timing:

Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining accuracy
Manage oven timing and pizza flow to ensure perfect texture and doneness
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to coordinate orders

Quality Control:

Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality
Ensure all pizzas meet Mortadella Head standards before leaving the kitchen
Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices

Station Management:

Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked
Assist with prep work as needed (slicing, portioning, light prep cooking)
Support overall kitchen operations during slower periods

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Experience working as a pizza maker or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Strong understanding of dough handling and oven management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Availability to work nights and weekends is required
Ability and willingness to work in a freezer environment periodically throughout each day
