Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS with precision and accountability.
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Experience

Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a welcoming environment.
Experience serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Knowledge of food industry standards related to food handling, food safety, and beverage preparation.
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and accurate billing procedures.
Prior experience working in hospitality environments such as restaurants or catering services will be advantageous.
