Full Job Description

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a hands-on leader to run our Nashville location. You will start by managing a 4–5-person team, coaching our sales rep, train field technicians, and own the profit and growth of this location. This is not a desk job. You will be in the field, training crew, overseeing quality, and building a culture where people want to stay.

This is a working leadership role: you are responsible for the location’s sales and production numbers, manage the crews and the sales team, and you are in the shop at 7:00 AM making sure trucks roll loaded and on time. Your job is to build and run the team.

At full build your location runs two sales reps, five to seven installers, and a warehouse manager. If you want ownership of a territory and a team without starting your own company, this is that seat. If you are looking for an office job, this is not it.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage daily operations and lead a team of 3-5 technicians and 1 sales rep
Train field staff on installation standards and quality expectations.
Coach the sales rep on closing techniques, pricing, and execution.
Conduct weekly quality inspections.
Own crew retention and morale
Confirm crews closed out yesterday’s jobs; review installer timesheets and correct errors
Get installers rolling — vehicles clean, materials verified, trucks stocked, job details understood
Order materials

Lead the Sales Effort

Own your branch’s close rate, NSPL, and estimate volume — and know which one to work when revenue slips
Coach your reps through ride alongs and review calls
Step into estimates as needed — covering a rep who is out, or handling a large or escalated job

Lead the Team

Develop the team, and hire to plan as the branch grows — sales, installers, and service
Hire for attitude and train for skill; grow people into bigger roles
Train new hires

Own the Market

Know your service area and local market conditions.
Maintain our supplier and vendor relationships — supply houses, dumpsters, printing
Represent Gutter Gliders locally — Chamber of Commerce, BNI, and builder and roofer relationships
Resolve escalated customer issues and complete all service calls within 2 business days

What We’re Looking For

3+ years in managing field teams or running operations in a service business, ideally home services
Track record of hitting revenue and production targets
Experience hiring, training, and holding a team accountable
Strong enough in sales to coach it and to run an estimate yourself when the team needs coverage
Comfortable on job sites and in the shop; able to climb ladders, inspect work, and handle material
Comfortable with networking and in-person community outreach
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Self-directed enough to run a location without daily oversight from ownership

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
