Full Job Description

Worldshine is a senior care management company with a passion for enhancing seniors’ lifestyles through continuous innovations in care by providing high quality individualized services and specialty care for the elderly with disabilities and dementia. Worldshine is expanding rapidly with the core businesses comprised of Adult Medical Day Care Centers, Assisted Living Facility, and Senior Independent Living Apartments. The extended business and products include the medical technology innovation, commercial real estate, physical therapy.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma required.

-Strong ability to plan, organize work, and manage multiple tasks independently.

-Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.

-Outstanding interpersonal skills.

-Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

Develop activity programs that meet the needs of each participant, according to his or her individualized plan of care goals.
Develop educational programs.
Carry out activity program tasks.
Supervise volunteers assigned to the activity program.
Supervise individual and small group activities and encourages social interactions among participants.
Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Provide positive attitude and influence to the participants.
Maintain supplies needed for activity programs including ordering, inventory and maintenance.
Assist in marketing and public relations.
Document in participant records when necessary.

Other Duties:

Responsible for carrying out individualized care in accordance with the participant service plan.
Complete required training.
Perform all functions with the goal of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of participants.
Observation of each participant and immediately reporting any changes in their physical, mental and psychological conditions.
Assisting with meal service and assisting/feeding assigned participants to eat their meals and informing Manager/Supervisor when participants are not eating or adequately or taking fluids.
Assist in emergencies as directed by the Center Administrator.
Volunteer training.
Tasks assigned by the activity manager.
