Responsibilities

Welcome every patient with professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm
Answer incoming calls while providing an exceptional first impression of the practice
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Accurately estimate patient financial responsibility
Present treatment estimates and financial arrangements with confidence, clarity, and compassion
Educate patients on financing options and assist them in making informed decisions
Submit insurance claims and required documentation
Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and appeals
Post insurance and patient payments accurately
Maintain complete and accurate patient records
Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, specialists, and the clinical team
Help patients understand the value of recommended treatment and encourage them to move forward with their care
Maintain an organized, welcoming, and efficient front office environment
Participate in continuing education and team development
Contribute ideas that improve the patient experience and office systems

Qualifications

Dental front office or dental insurance experience preferred
Strong understanding of dental insurance benefits, claim submission, and insurance coordination is preferred
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn dental software
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Experience is welcomed, but we value attitude, coachability, and cultural fit just as much as experience.
