Digital Marketing Specialist | Frederick, MD | Full-time | Onsite | $80K+
This is a full-time permanent role with excellent benefits and career growth

About the Role:

Looking for an agency that gives you the reigns to build and run high-impact paid media campaigns? We are looking for a hands-on digital marketer who owns campaign performance end-to-end and thinks strategically about what the marketing is actually driving.

You'll sit inside the delivery team alongside channel specialists and a Performance Marketing Strategist. When a campaign needs building, you build it. When performance dips, you dig in and fix it. This is a role where you can make a real difference and grow into deeper technical ownership over time.

What You'll Do:

Paid Media

· Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Local Service Ads, Shopping, and Bing (Google Ads is core to this role from day one)

· Own day-to-day optimization (budgets, pacing, bidding, audiences, keywords, negatives, and ad testing)

· Own monthly PPC reporting (what's working, what's not, and what we recommend changing)

· Support account managers with PPC data and recommendations they can bring into client conversations

SEO & Email

· Execute SEO work including on-page optimization, keyword-driven updates, and technical hygiene basics

· Build and manage email campaigns (list segmentation, sends, and performance review)

· Write functional marketing copy across your channels (ad copy, email copy, meta descriptions, and on-page edits)

Analytics, Tracking & CRM

· Use GA4 and platform reporting to measure performance, define KPIs, and build clear client-facing reporting

· Support conversion tracking setup and QA through Google Tag Manager and platform pixels

· Handle day-to-day CRM maintenance (hygiene, lists, basic workflows, and lead flow checks)

· Surface insights that change what we do next (flagging what's working, what's not, and why)

What You Bring

· 3–5 years in digital marketing with meaningful hands-on paid media experience

· Proven Google Ads management is the one non-negotiable (Local Service Ads, Shopping, or Bing experience is a plus, and what you haven't run before, you can learn here)

· Working knowledge of GA4 and familiarity with Google Tag Manager (we don't need you to be an expert, but you can't walk-in blind to tracking and measurement conversations)

· Capable across SEO and email marketing, with the flexibility to move between channels

· Able to write serviceable marketing copy for ads, emails, and on-page SEO

· A strategic thinker who connects execution to outcomes and resists doing things just because they're on the list

· Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work (we like Claude)

· Strong pluses: CRM administration experience, advanced conversion tracking (offline or server-side), certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or HubSpot, agency experience, and client-facing experience
