**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct and non-direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare field.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist in preparing treatment areas for therapy sessions

- Aid patients in exercises and activities as directed by the physical therapist

- Support patients with ambulation and transfers

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and supplies

- Document patient progress accurately

**Experience:**

- Experience or exposure to orthopedics, hospital medicine, outpatient settings, or acute care is preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

- Strong patient service skills

- Familiarity with geriatric patient care is a plus

This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting and the opportunity to work closely with experienced physical therapists. If you are passionate about assisting patients on their road to recovery, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

This position also would include scheduling patients, greeting patients as they come in to the clinic and scheduling patients when we get referrals. If there is experience in checking patient benefits for insurance this would be a plus.

There is an ability to expand this job to help with forming a DME company whick will increase the competitive pay appropriately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
