Full Job Description

Looking for an administrative/legal assistant to take on various tasks for busy law office in Rockville, Maryland, concentrating exclusively in employment and employment immigration law. Candidate would support 2 lawyers. Tasks would range from basic to substantive paralegal tasks (document review, drafting, client communications, fact investigations, etc. ), drafting and responding to written discovery, legal research and writing, completing employment based immigration filings, to office manager tasks and everything in between.

Schedule is flexible. Starting salary is $65,000.00, but negotiable based on education and experience (experience in wage/hour law practice or US Department of Labor highly desired). Desired applicant will have a college degree and completed an ABA approved paralegal certificate program. This is a permanent position but acceptable applicants can also be looking for temporary work before law school (must be disclosed). Spanish language proficiency is also preferred. Must be able to work independently in fast paced environment. Please send resume along with statement indicating interest, qualifications and references.
