About us

Victory Home Care

Our busy and growing Home Care Agency is seeking a well-organized team player to join our team as an Assistant Care Coordinator and Office Manager. This is a collaborative role, you will work closely with the Senior Office Manager, CEO, and Director of Nursing to advance our commitment to provide seniors with needed assistance to live independently and with dignity in their homes. The ideal candidate possesses great interpersonal skills and organizational skills and can work under time pressure, managing multiple demands simultaneously.

Duties

Assist in managing and directing day to day operations of office and field staff
Staff Recruitment and Retention: screening, interviewing, processing and orientation of field staff; conduct staff training and performance reviews and engage in ongoing performance management and coaching; document performance; ensure performance issues, conduct and ethical issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner; follow through with disciplinary actions as necessary
Coordination of Schedules: Staffing clients with suitable caregivers and managing any issues that may arise such as emergency staffing, handling client/staff request and concerns
Payroll Coordination: data entry of billing and payroll data, managing staff reporting and documentation
On-call: Share responsibility of after-hours on-call scheduling with other care coordinators during weeknights and weekends
Finance/Accounting: Assist with standard bookkeeping functions including billing, A/R and A/P; Generate timely billing of all clients and vendors; Generate and submit network and insurance claims and/or statement on a timely basis
Information Coordination: Review all information to ensure agency meets Medicare, Medicaid and insurance requirements
Provide other administrative support as necessary

Qualifications

Associate degree required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Previous home care experience required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in business office management in health-related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Speak, read, write and comprehend English
Payroll, Bookkeeping or Accounting experience preferred but not required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency
Must be able to handle confidential matters on day-to-day basis
Must possess excellent computer skills and experience with Google Suite software (Google Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and QuickBooks
