Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our vibrant culinary team! As a Kitchen Lead, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional food quality, maintaining efficient kitchen operations, and inspiring your team to excel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Your energetic approach and dedication will ensure our guests receive memorable dining experiences every time.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food quality and safety.
Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
Supervise and train kitchen staff on food handling, safety protocols, and culinary techniques.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
Enforce food safety standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Assist with shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and motivating team members.
Collaborate with management on food production planning, cost control, and profit & loss analysis.
Support catering events, banquet service, or special functions as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, training initiatives, and leadership development.

Requirements

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and budgeting tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for team management, training, interviewing potential staff, and managerial coordination.
Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for order calculations, inventory tracking, and financial analysis.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a positive attitude that motivates your team.
