VENUE TOUR SPECIALIST
Fredericksburg · Gruene · Spicewood
On-Site / Hill Country Travel | Reports to Director of Sales
OUR PURPOSE
At Camp Hideaway, our purpose is to love people through hospitality. We're stewards of the guest experience and the land God entrusted to us. We nourish, provide, and sacrifice for others — that's what we're here for. If that resonates with you, this might be the right place.
JOB SUMMARY
We're looking for a warm, sales-savvy hospitality pro to deliver incredible in-person tours at our three Hill Country venues — Fredericksburg, Gruene, and Spicewood — for weddings, corporate offsites, and retreats. Tours are pre-scheduled for you by our sales team; your job is to walk in, wow the client, and close the deposit before they leave.
This is a hands-on, relationship-first role. You'll know every inch of all three properties, ask the right questions, take great notes, and pull the levers we've built to drive same-day decisions. You are not responsible for booking tours or following up after the tour — that's on the sales team. Your job is to be incredible in the room.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Tour Delivery: Drive between properties for pre-scheduled tours and deliver an incredible in-person experience for wedding couples, planners, corporate groups, and retreat organizers.
- Venue Mastery: Know all three venues inside and out — layout, capacity, packages, pricing, and availability — well enough to answer anything on the spot.
- Sales-Minded Hospitality: Ask good discovery questions, read what the client wants, and love them through hospitality while guiding the conversation toward a decision.
- Ask for the Business: Pull the levers we've designed to drive same-day bookings and directly ask for the deposit before the client leaves.
- Notes & Proposals: Take thorough notes during every tour and prep/send proposals on the fly using TripleSeat.
- Same-Day CRM Logging: Enter all tour notes into TripleSeat by end of day, every day — no exceptions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales, Sales Manager, and Venue Managers to stay aligned on scheduling, standards, and handoffs.
WEEKLY PERFORMANCE BENCHMARKS
- Average of 10-12 tours per week across all three properties (~1.5 hours per tour, plus travel time between locations)
- 40% same-day close rate on tours delivered
- 100% of tour notes logged in TripleSeat by end of day
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
- Pay: $30/hour, starting when you arrive at your first property each day
- Gas: Reimbursed for travel between properties
- Lunch: Paid — no unpaid break deducted from your day
- Commission: $250 flat for every same-day booking
DRESS CODE
Business casual

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Detail-oriented note-taker who can multitask a tour and a proposal
