Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Experienced Paralegal specializing in Family Law and/or Estate Planning to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing estate planning documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with client consultations. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth execution of estate plans, trusts, and related legal processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and legal acumen will make a meaningful impact.

Duties

Prepare, review, and organize estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives with precision and accuracy.
Conduct comprehensive legal research across various practice areas including estate law, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, and securities law to support case development.
Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are current and properly maintained.
Assist attorneys with client interviews by gathering relevant information through effective questioning and documentation.
Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and other documents with clarity and professionalism.
Review legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws; perform proofreading and transcription as needed.
Support litigation activities by reviewing case materials, preparing discovery responses, and coordinating document review processes.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of estate planning procedures and legal drafting techniques.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to gather pertinent case law and statutory information.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with various practice areas including environmental law, family law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, patent law, immigration law, securities law, tribal law & regulations.
Experience with legal case management software like iManage and PCLaw for effective document organization.
Excellent organizational skills combined with meticulous attention to detail for data entry, filing, document review, proofreading, and transcription tasks.
Superior communication skills including phone etiquette for client interactions and administrative support tasks.
Ability to perform thorough research using Westlaw or LexisNexis to support case development or legal analysis.
