Description Summary:
The position develops, implements, maintains and measures a comprehensive external and internal communications and branding strategy that promotes the mission, brand and services at FHC. The position will proactively and effectively manage the reputation of the organization while utilizing multiple sources of communication to include community engagement, employee engagement, print media, and social media to enhance FHC’s outreach and education programs. The position will lead the planning and execution of all organizational and community events.
Essential Functions:

Develop integrated communications and branding strategy to engage all internal and external stakeholders.

Serve as the company’s liaison to external media organizations local and non-local to promote FHC’s outreach and education programs.

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for developing and sustaining key external partnerships to enhance community awareness in an effort to increase client recruitment and retention.

Desing, script and develop outreach campaigns, educational materials, videos, infographics, and blog posts to improve patient education and health literacy on preventative health, chronic disease management, and vaccines.

Manage the company’s social media and website strategy to promote health education within the community.

Keep appraised of and engaged in advocacy/legislative issues relevant to FHC.

Plan, organize and oversee community engagement activities and programs.

Develop and lead employee engagement team to plan and execute employee related activities.

Represent FHC at public and networking events and applicable speaking engagements to promote the work of the organization.

Assist with the coordination of all external activities to include community, government, board, visitor and donor programs and prepare correspondence as required.

Serve as the facility host for applicable external stakeholder visits.

Assist with special projects, assignments or reports as required by leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Training:

Bachelor Degree in Public Relations, communications, marketing or related field required.

Three to five years of experience in communications, marking or related experience, preferably within health care or non-profit organizations
Skills and abilities: (language, mathematical, reasoning, etc.):

Bilingual highly preferred; Spanish.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, internally and externally

Experience developing marketing initiatives and event planning

Ability to prioritize and multi-task with high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced proficiency social media platforms, Canva, email marketing tools, and MS Office, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Proficiency in all aspects of marketing to include advertising, video development/editing, social media, etc.

Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner.

Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.

Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills.

Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
