Full Job Description

Quality Control & Production Supervisor

Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with employees and supervisors.

Full-Time Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM (includes paid 30-minute lunch)

Position Summary

We are a growing coffee manufacturer located in Brick, NJ seeking a Quality Control & Production Supervisor. This position combines production office coordination and quality control responsibilities. The supervisor will support batch creation, inventory tracking, label verification, documentation control, audit readiness, and production coordination while learning department operations and management processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Production Office & Inventory Coordination

Create and maintain production batches, batch tickets, and related paperwork.
Verify orders against Batch Master records and production tickets.
Print and distribute labels, production logs, cleaning logs, and other operational documents.
Update BOMs, item keys, COAs, and new product setup information.
Assist with inventory tracking for coffee, packaging materials, liquid flavors, and organic inventory.
Support purchase request preparation for raw materials and packaging supplies.

Quality Control & Compliance

Perform inspections, checks, testing, and sampling procedures as required.
Verify label accuracy and product identification.
Maintain controlled documents, test records, and inspection records.
Assist with SOP revisions, inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
Review production records and documentation for compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
Support audit readiness and coordinate record collection for SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, and OSHA compliance.

Operational Support

Coordinate with production, quality, warehouse, and management teams.
Identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor completion of required logs and ensure records are submitted on schedule.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and process standardization efforts.

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish required. Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with employees and supervisors.
Experience in manufacturing, food production, quality control, or production administration preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production/ERP systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and varying temperatures

Work Environment

Fast-paced food manufacturing facility
Compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations is required
Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required
Overtime work may be required based on production schedules
