Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your leadership will help foster a positive kitchen environment, support menu execution, and maintain efficient food production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about fine dining, team management, and delivering outstanding hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance and mentorship to promote teamwork and high performance.
Oversee food production processes, including food handling, preparation, and presentation, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
Support menu planning and contribute creative ideas to enhance the culinary offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with management on shift management, cost control measures, and catering or banquet event preparations.

Qualifications

Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is highly desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures.
Experience in food service management, including inventory management and cost control.
Familiarity with banquet, catering, and restaurant operations is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent food preparation skills along with proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisines.
Prior experience in dietary departments or specialized food handling is advantageous.
