Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Set along the breathtaking coastline of Portland, Maine, this travel assignment provides the perfect blend of professional advancement and personal adventure. Portland is renowned for its picturesque lighthouses, exceptional culinary scene, and inviting historic charm, making your time outside of work as enjoyable as the assignment itself. Whether you’re strolling Old Port’s cobblestone streets or discovering the beauty of Casco Bay, your days off will feel like a mini-vacation.

Professionally, this assignment offers invaluable exposure to a dynamic emergency department and inpatient environment. As you collaborate with skilled teams and adapt to varying protocols, you’ll gain insights into different leadership strategies and imaging practices—adding sought-after expertise to your resume and broadening your career horizons.

Schedule/Hours:

36 hours per week
9-hour shifts
3rd shift (overnights)
Rotating coverage every other weekend

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required
Strong background in general and vascular ultrasound (AB, vascular preferred)
Prior experience providing ultrasound coverage for emergency departments and inpatient settings
Flexible, resourceful, and comfortable working nights and rotating weekends
Adaptable to fast-paced, team-focused environments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality general and vascular ultrasound imaging for emergency and inpatient patients
Collaborate with ED and hospital staff to support timely, accurate diagnoses
Maintain clear, concise imaging records and documentation
Adhere to strict safety and patient care protocols
