The Role: We are seeking a Senior Associate with 4+ years of substantive employment litigation experience to take a lead role in our growing practice. You will serve as lead counsel on a diverse caseload, including sexual harassment, discrimination, whistleblower, and wage-and-hour class actions. You will develop and execute discovery strategies, take and defend key depositions, prepare and argue substantive motions, and prepare cases for trial.

While this role is primarily remote, travel to New York City is required for mandatory in-person court appearances. Candidates must have significant experience practicing in New York federal courts. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and a demonstrated ability to drive litigation from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Case Ownership: Lead a diverse caseload of employment matters from pre-litigation to trial. Act as the primary strategist and advocate for our clients.
High-Level Advocacy: Draft and argue complex discovery and dispositive motions. You will craft the legal arguments that secure critical discovery, overcome motions for summary judgment, and drive successful resolutions.
First-Chair Experience: Represent clients as lead counsel in federal and state court hearings, arbitrations, and depositions.
Leadership & Strategy: Collaborate with the firm’s founder on high-level strategy and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications And Skills

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York State Bar, S.D.N.Y., and E.D.N.Y.
Minimum of four years of employment litigation experience, including managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, as well as arguing substantive motions.
Experience in at least one jury trial as first or second chair is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with modern legal tech and cloud-based case management is essential to succeed in our remote environment.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $175,000 (commensurate with experience) plus significant annual bonus upside tied to performance.
