Full Job Description

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years physician office billing and coding experience. Responsible for posting and ensuring accuracy of all charges for busy specialist practice. Must have working knowledge of insurance protocols - including modifiers, bundling, and sequencing of procedures. Experience in posting payments while watching for denials or incorrect coding and reimbursement. Able to determine patient financial responsibility and communicate with the patient professionally and compassionately. Understanding of insurance EOB's, claim forms and the total billing cycle is required.

Must be well organized, self motivated and able to stay focused on tasks. Critical thinking skills as well as strong communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
