Full Job Description

Showtime Hospitality is a growing, dynamic hospitality group committed to delivering unforgettable dining experiences through creativity, excellence, and a passion for hospitality. With multiple concepts ranging from elevated casual to fine dining, we bring together exceptional culinary talent, inspired design, and top-tier service to delight guests across the Greater Portland area.

We are currently seeking an innovative and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations, drive our food vision, and shape the next chapter of our growth.

Position Overview

As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations across one Showtime Hospitality properties. You'll be responsible for setting the culinary tone, developing seasonal menus, managing kitchen teams, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity. The Executive Chef role requires strong leadership, a collaborative spirit, and a deep passion for food and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire culinary the teams, ensuring alignment with Showtime Hospitality's brand and vision.
Develop and execute seasonal menus that reflect creativity, local sourcing, and guest preferences.
Manage food cost, labor, and kitchen budgets with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
Implement and uphold food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Uphold company standards, processes and procedures.
Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Oversee vendor relationships and sourcing strategies, emphasizing local and sustainable ingredients.
Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and competitor offerings.Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of professional culinary experience, including 3+ years in an Executive Chef or comparable leadership role.
Proven track record in high-volume, multi-concept, or upscale dining environments.
Strong culinary foundation with experience in menu development, cost control, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Passion for hospitality, innovation, and guest experience.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Familiarity with the Greater Portland food scene is a plus.
