Why Join Us? The Mission: Work on cutting-edge hydrogen and clean-energy technology, not just standard structural steel.
The Environment: Clean, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Competitive Compensation: Top-of-market Bay Area wages, comprehensive health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and equity/stock options.
Career Growth: We invest in our people with continuous training, cross-skilling in orbital/automated welding, and clear pathways into lead or engineering roles.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As a TIG Welder , you will be responsible for the high-precision fabrication of our core fuel cell modules and high-temperature piping systems.
Precision Welding: Perform manual TIG (GTAW) welding on thin-gauge stainless steel, Inconel, and specialized alloys.
Blueprint Mastery: Interpret complex engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to layout and execute flawless welds.
Zero-Tolerance Quality: Deliver high-pressure, leak-tight welds capable of passing rigorous visual inspections and helium leak testing.
Fit-Up & Fab: Utilize jigs, fixtures, and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to align and tack components within strict tolerances.
Collaborate: Work closely with manufacturing engineers and quality inspectors to optimize weld fixtures and troubleshoot production challenges.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Experience: 3+ years of professional TIG welding experience, ideally in an aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environment. Material Expertise: Proven track record working with thin-gauge sheet metal, stainless steel, and nickel alloys (Inconel). Technical Skills: ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Quality Mindset: Pride in your craftsmanship with an eye for uniformity, penetration, and clean aesthetics.
