Job Title: Accounting Associate

The Role

We are looking for a sharp, adaptable, and team-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our daily financial operations, assisting with billing, accounts payable, payroll, some taxes, misc. report management and general ledger postings.

What You’ll Do

Utilize advanced Excel functions to track financial data, run reports, and identify discrepancies.
Assist with daily workflows across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Driver Settlements.
Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations.
Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records.
Partner closely with dispatch, safety, and operations teams to keep our office running seamlessly.

Requirements - What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related field preferred, a minimum of a 2-year associate degree will be considered with experience.

Technical Skills:

High-level Excel experience is a must -proficiency with formulas, data analysis, and organizing large complex spreadsheets.o
Solid foundational knowledge of AR, AP, Billing, Payroll, and General Ledger processes.Mindset & Traits:
High Attention to Detail: You take pride in pinpoint accuracy and rarely let a typo or misplaced number slip by.
Adaptable & Fast Learner: You pick up new software and fast-moving workflows quickly.
Genuine Team Player: You bring a positive attitude to a close-knit office setting and are always willing to pitch in and help a coworker.

Salary: Based on experience
